Almost every reader has experienced the unfortunate phenomenon of the "book slump".

What is a book slump? A Today article states, "A book slump is a period when a reader is unable to find a book that they enjoy, and they start to wonder if they like reading anymore." Many readers have expressed this feeling on social media and are concerned that they will never read again. Despite it feeling like the end of the world, there are many ways to cure a "book slump".

The typical and most basic way to cure a book slump is to read your favorite book again. This is typically the first option when curing a book slump. If this does not work, many suggest reading children's books with a good storyline. Easy to digest and quick reads. An example is The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint Exupery.  And the most popular one recently, good book recommendations. Posts on TikTok say: "Books that will cure your reading slump" or "Short books to undo a reading slump".

All of these options should help with a reading slump. If you loved reading once, you can fall in love all over again.
